Amazing Guacamole

  • 5 ripe medium avocados, seeded and peeled
  • 1/3 C. onion, chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/3 pound Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 2 green chilies, diced
  • 1/3 C. fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 1/4 C. lime juice
  • 1/3 T. Lawry’s seasoned salt


  1. In a large mixing bowl, coarsely mash avocados, leaving some chunks.
  2. Add remaining ingredients and mix to blend.
  3. To store Guacamole, place a piece of plastic wrap directly on the surface of the Guacamole and refrigerate.
  4. The pit(s) of the avocado(s) can be placed in the middle of the guacamole, as it (along with the lime juice) will help to keep it from turning brown.
