Basic Homemade Vinaigrette

1 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
2-3 Cloves garlic (minced or pressed)
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. rosemary, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Add balsamic vinegar, garlic, and herbs together in a small mixing bowl.
2. Mix contents with a whisk while slowly adding the olive oil. Whisk together well, doing so allows the vinegar to emulsify with the oil, not doing so results in gross oily dressing.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste
Note: For larger quantities of dressing, maintain a 2-to-1 ratio with the oil and vinegar, and add additional herbs to taste. Also, the fresher the herbs , the fresher the taste!
