Hawaiian Salsa Snapper

  • 1 1/2 lbs. thick-cut snapper filets
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  • 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, finely minced
  • 3/4 cups crushed pineapple
  • 1 tsp. jalapeno pepper, finely minced
  • 1/2 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt and white pepper to taste


  1. Mix together all ingredients for salsa and set aside.
  2. Preheat 10-12 inch stainless steel skillet on medium high heat for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Rub 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice on snapper and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook fish in heated skillet about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until seared and cooked.
  5. Remove snapper from pan and top with salsa.
