Mashed Squash

  • 2 butternut squash, halved and seeded
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • Salt and Pepper


  1. Bake squash in oven for 1 hour at 350 degrees, or until tender.
  2. Scoop out flesh of the squash and place in a large bowl.
  3. Add butter seasonings, and 1 Tbsp. brown sugar.
  4. Mash together until smooth and well combined.
  5. Place mashed squash onto plates and sprinkle remaining brown sugar over top.
