Parmesan Green Beans

  • 1/2 lb. fresh green beans, trimmed and cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 Tbsp. freshly grated Paremsan cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • Coarse salt and ground pepper


  1. Steam green beans in a large pot until slightly tender; remove water and return green beans to pot.
  2. Add butter, lemon juice, garlic, and 1 Tbsp. paremsan cheese.
  3. Mix to combine, and serve with remaining cheese sprinkled on top.
