Spicy Roasted Peanuts

  • 1 lb. peanuts, or other mixed nuts.
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a medium sized bowl, combine spices and oil until well mixed. Seasonings may be adjusted to taste.
  3. Add peanuts to bowl and mix until evenly coated.
  4. Arrange peanuts on a baking sheet and place in oven.
  5. Bake for 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.
  6. Let peanuts cool completely before serving.
