Toasted Garlic Bread

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Cut the loaf of bread in half, horizontally.
  3. Mix butter, garlic, and parsley together in a small bowl, until well combined.
  4. Spread butter mixture on each of the two bread halves.
  5. Place bread on a baking pan and heat in oven for 10 minutes.
  6. Remove pan from oven and sprinkle cheese over top.
  7. Broil on high heat for 2-3 minutes, watching carefully, or until cheese starts to bubble.
  8. Remove from oven and cool for one minute.
  9. Slice bread into 1-inch thick pieces; serve immediately.
