Cocoa Dusted Orange Smiles

  • 2 navel oranges
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup Very Cherre Tart Cherry Juice


  1. Peel and section oranges.
  2. In a sauce pan combine water and granulated sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil stirring constantly.
  3. Add Very Cherre Tart Cherry Juice and bring the mixture back to a boil. Reduce heat. Simmer until the mixture is the consistency of syrup. Cool slightly.
  4. In a small shallow bowl combine cocoa powder and powdered sugar.
  5. Dip the orange sections into the cherry syrup about 2/3 up the section. Then dredge the dipped sections in the cocoa powder mixture.
