Baked Beans

  • 1 lb bacon
  • 3 onions, chopped
  • 1/2 cup cider vinegar
  • 3 Tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or sucanat)
  • 55 oz can original baked beans
  • 1 can lima beans
  • 1 can kidney beans
  • 1 can butter beans


  1. Cook bacon, set aside to drain/cool, then chop.
  2. Cook onions in bacon grease until tender. Add vinegar, mustard, and sugar and cook for 10 minutes.
  3. Drain beans and combine in 9×13-in pan.
  4. Spread onion mixture over top. Sprinkle bacon over top. Bake at 400 for 20-30 min.
