Ask Amy: Getting Extra Fruit into a Carnivorous Diet
My youngest daughter is a carnivore, her favorite foods are all meat - steak, bacon, ham, chicken, etc. She doesn't care for many fruits and vegetables. We are working on that. My question is this, if she's drinking Old Orchard 100% juice, does a glass count as a servings of fruit? And how much juice is too much? She drinks only flavored milk (strawberry or chocolate) and she'll drink water, so I don't think she's over doing it on juice. I'm just trying to balance her liquid intake. She is not overweight at all and is in the 95th percentile for height. Thank you!
