How do I lower my cholesterol?
First of all, good for you with the Pilates! Exercise in general is an excellent way to help you lower you bad cholesterol (LDL) and raise your good cholesterol (HDL). Increasing physical activity (if possible, for approximately 30 minutes 5 days a week) can also help you lose weight. Having a little one to keep track of might not allow you the luxury of having 30 minutes to yourself, so I would suggest breaking this up into 10 minute segments. Walking briskly, taking the stairs, parking your car further away, etc. are all ways to increase physical activity to help lower cholesterol.
