Homemade Trail Mix

  • 1 cup granola
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup dried fruit
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1-2 ounces M&Ms;


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish with non-fat cooking spray.
  2. Mix sugar, vanilla, and egg together in a medium bowl, until well blended.
  3. Add granola, fruit, nuts, and M&Ms; stir until well combined.
  4. Transfer mixture to baking pan, and use hands to press evenly along bottom of pan.
  5. Bake for 25 mintues, let cool, then cut into bars.
