Homemade Tortillas

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 Tbsp lard or shortening
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1 tsp salt


  1. Mix ingredients until all blended. Dough should be sticky but workable.
  2. Divide into 10 balls. Roll out each ball into a thin circle.
  3. Pan fry each on both sides over medium heat for a few seconds until cooked but not browned.

Enjoy warm or with your favorite fillings!
