DIY: Holiday Joy Craft
Spread some joy this season and get your house into the holiday spirit with this 4 Step craft! This craft is a super easy way to add some holiday flair to your decorations. Using Old Orchard Frozen juice cans, you make these into anything; candy-cane holders, chocolate holders, utensil holders, or even just a simple center piece. So many options!
What you will need:
You will need; 3 empty Old Orchard Frozen Juice cans, red scrapbook paper, letter stencils, tape, scissors or exact-o knife, white paint, paint brushes, and glitter.
Step 1. Cut paper to fit the can.
Measure the paper to 12 inches long and 4 ¾ inches wide
Step 2. Stencil letters on middle of paper.
Tip: To hold the stencil in place, tape the edges so it will not move while you fill in the “J” and “Y” with the white paint.
Step 3. Snowflake for the letter “O”.
There are a couple of options you can do for the snowflake. You can paint the snowflake on by free-handing it, which is what I did, or you can use a snowflake stencil. For a little extra sparkle, I sprinkled glitter on the wet paint to give it more of a snowflake look.
Step 4. Wrap around can.
Use either tape or glue on the edges to hold the paper in place around the cans.
Enjoy! Now you can leave them empty or fill with any desired candy and set them out for your party guests!
