Cherry Backyard BBQ Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1 can of Old Orchard Apple Cherry frozen juice concentrate
  • 1 bunch green onion
  • 2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 2 Tbsp. garlic
  • 2/3 cup of ketchup

Directions:

  1. Empty juice into a pan and let it come to a boil. Let it boil until it is reduced down to 1/3 of the original amount.
  2. Add green onion, molasses, garlic and ketchup.
  3. Cook on low for 15 minutes.

Slather on ribs, chicken or pork chops. It’s a great sauce.

For another kick you can add 5-10 drops of liquid smoke after reduction to add a smoky flavor. I use mesquite.
