Cherry Backyard BBQ Sauce
- 1 can of Old Orchard Apple Cherry frozen juice concentrate
- 1 bunch green onion
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 2 Tbsp. garlic
- 2/3 cup of ketchup
- Empty juice into a pan and let it come to a boil. Let it boil until it is reduced down to 1/3 of the original amount.
- Add green onion, molasses, garlic and ketchup.
- Cook on low for 15 minutes.
Slather on ribs, chicken or pork chops. It’s a great sauce.
For another kick you can add 5-10 drops of liquid smoke after reduction to add a smoky flavor. I use mesquite.
